Dance Be Happy: From The Heart of Uganda to The Pulse of Organic House

Giles et Diego: Co-creators of Dance Be Happy

When Robert Stephenson, founder of Climate Actions Now, was traversing the highlands of Uganda, he encountered an inspiring spectacle. A group of children, dancing and singing with pure joy, in an attempt to catch the fleeting attention of tourists. Their infectious energy stirred something within him, sparking an idea that would set in motion a one-of-a-kind musical initiative.

Giles et Diego, a renowned music production duo with a flair for organic house and techno, were given this raw, joyful, and profoundly authentic recording. A mere video clip of children dancing and singing in the Ugandan highlands was about to get a transformative touch.

Five days later, something incredible happened. The video clip had been masterfully metamorphosed into a new piece of music - 'Dance Be Happy'. Giles et Diego had ingeniously extracted the music, the beats, and the spirit of the dancing, creating a unique and captivating organic house track. Their impressive ability to harness the raw energy of the footage and merge it with their distinct musical style created a sound that was both exotic and familiar. A sound that could cross borders and touch hearts universally.
